How do you add action to an action film premiere?
Paramount’s high-octane film xXx: Return of Xander Cage needed a premiere event to rev up some serious excitement for opening night. It was our job to invite VIP guests including local celebrities, sports stars and selected media to our black-carpet event on the Gold Coast.
With custom-built motorcycles and a thumping DJ set, celeb Charli Robinson MCed the exclusive event, building up to an adrenaline-pumping finale. Aerial artists performed a never-before attempted skydive – falling from more than 1500m, they fell to land on a small inflatable, afloat a metre-deep lake. With our guests pumped by the performance, we topped the night off with what everyone had been waiting for: an exclusive first viewing of the new film, which would go on to top more than $346m at box office worldwide.
